"My name is Jayne and I would like to tell you my story. My husband and I have been at our current small farm now for 15 years and over the years my husband has built up a small organic hay making business that was doing quite well - basically we ticked along just nicely.
Unfortunately, after Covid hit, things got tougher as I would think everyone would agree. The cost-of-living went up and our mortgage interest made it less achievable to continue as we had hoped!
Trying to struggle through these times started to affect our health so to reduce the stress it was suggested to us that we should apply for a subdivision of our property, this way we could sell some of the property to meet our commitments.
This is when we met Steve Jersky from the Harley Dykstra team that my husband discovered online. Entering discussions with Steve about our predicament it was decided
that we would apply for a Homestead subdivision. That was back in November 2023.
Over a year later we were granted our subdivision and I feel it came about through sheer
determination from Steve and he's team members. We endured many bumps in the road, all of which my husband and I thought unreachable, but always in the background Steve was there boosting our morale and even when we had knock back after knock back, Steve and his team forged new and different approaches to help us succeed in our endeavours, pushing us not to give up when we thought there were no other possibilities.
Steve and his team went above and beyond our expectations to keep moving forward, even when they did hit the hurdles placed before them! This team continued to fight for us where I fear other companies would not have, putting into the 'too hard' basket!
As a result of their `true grit", and because they didn't give up on us, we are able to stay on our little piece of heaven.
Having told you my story,I would not hesitate for one moment to recommend the Harley Dykstra team with their efficiency and articulate level of competency having taken this journey with them.
